The Internet of Things (IoT) has been growing exponentially, and shows no signs of slowing down. From fridges to video doorbells to your Alexa or Google device, everything is capable of connecting to the internet, which means that everything is capable of sharing information about you with the world.
Curious about which devices in your home are talking? Well, we’re here to help you uncover just that - with a new tool called Home Data Inspector (HDI).
HDI is an open-source desktop app that lets you see what devices in your home connect to the internet, and identify potential security and privacy violations. All you need to do is download the app and run it in a browser window.
